If you're sick of being frustrated while enjoying something that's supposed to be relaxing and fun (similar to golf) then buy an iBobber Pulse. This Fish Finder has a companion app, which means you're light years ahead of everybody else in the boat.
But does it work? Well, the reviews are mostly positive, so we're leaning towards yes. But is this technically cheating? Well, again.. we're leaning towards yes. Of course if you're concerned about fishing "the right way", just remember that you're literally throwing something into the water on a thin, nearly invisible line. Your goal is to trick a fish into biting said thing on your line, at which point you aggressively (and maniacally) try to pull the fish out of the water, and into your boat. What we're saying is, it's okay to use a fish finder.

The iBobber apparently has patented sonar fish I.D. Technology, but I'm not going to try to explain to you what exactly that is. It has a rechargeable battery that supposedly lasts up to 10+ hours on a single charge. Oh, and as mentioned it connects to your iPhone or Android.. because it's 2017 and fishing shouldn't be this hard anymore, right? We'll also tell you that the iBobber is capable of producing sonar readings from 4ft - 135 ft deep, so it'll work for almost everyone reading this. If you're fishing below 135 ft deep, we're assuming you have more advanced technology.. or you're just insane. Or, you're the guy from Old Man and The Sea. Shoutout to Ernest Hemingway, that book is fantastic.
