This is a more dude-appropriate version of the goofy thing you see mall cops and tourists from Albuquerque riding. The Segway Robot isn't out yet and we have no idea how much it'll set you back cost-wise, but the idea has serious potential for third-party developers to build upon. It functions as a hoverboard while you're on it and transitions into a humanoid companion when you step off. Its camera allows it to follow the user around with little guidance. We know the Segway Robot can be paired with the user's home security to monitor the doorway for intruders, but its full potential has yet to be revealed.
