Honestly, do you know how easy it is to play bocce ball? Sure, the bocce purists will try to tell you there's incredible skill and technique that separates the elite bocce ball players, but it's just a game you can play in your backyard. But it's simple: there's a little ball, called the "jack" or the "pallino". You throw that little ball wherever you want (unless you're playing on a court) and then each player throws the larger bowl as close to the pallino as possible. It's like horseshoes, but you're throwing balls. Also, why do people still throw horseshoes for sport?

What does it come with?
This particular bocce set comes with a carrier case, which is pretty much a requirement considering you'll be toting around 16 balls (8 per team) plus the pallino. Friends not included.
Why should you buy one?
You should probably ask yourself, "Do I want to be the guy that shows up to the party or backyard barbecue without a Bocce ball set?" Once you quickly decide that no, you don't want to be that guy, you'll buy a bocce set. It's a sport literally anyone can play, and it's kind of hard to be bad at (unlike badmitton or volleyball). Also, you'll get to say fun things like "hey bro, you want to bocce?" and other fun phrases (Hey, want to go toss the old pallino around?) most other people at the party won't be lucky enough to say. But mainly, you'll get to play a game where you throw a big ball at a small ball.
